Free Weight Loss Programs: THE BASICS

No matter which of our free weight loss programs you decide to try, you can greatly increase your chances of success by following these basic weight loss tips. Most good programs are based on these fundamentals and our free weight loss programs are no exception. Here they are:

1. Eat 3 SMALL meals and 2-3 high-protein snacks per day, spaced about 3-4 hours apart. Eat plenty of protein and DO NOT starve yourself. Eating like this will turn your body into a fat-burning machine!

2. Drink a TON of water. You should drink at least 12 ounces of water with every meal. Keep a large water bottle with you at all times and sip from it throughout the day. Water is the single most important fat-burning weapon you have.

3. Eat the right types of foods. Choose lean proteins (such as chicken, turkey, lean beef, fish, and egg whites) and complex carbs (like brown rice and whole grain breads). Use high-quality meal replacement shakes and bars for your snacks. Also eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. They make you feel full, give you energy, and even help your body burn fat!

4. Measure portion size, not calories. A "portion" is about the size of your fist. You want to eat one portion of lean protein and at least half a portion of complex carbs with each of your main meals. (Note: counting calories is good but extremely difficult to do accurately unless you use a quality calorie counter ).

5. Exercise at least 3 times per week for 30-40 minutes. 20 minutes of moderate weight lifting followed by 20 minutes of cardio is the best way to go. Doing this consistently will melt the fat off of your body faster than you can imagine!

6. Use high-quality nutritional supplements. They really do make your job a lot easier. A good thermogenic (fat-burning) supplement like Xenadrine RFA1 is especially recommended for quick weight loss results.

7. CHEAT! That's right, it's absolutely necessary that you "cheat" once per week. This means you can eat anything you want for one meal each and every week. It's a mental and physical reward for sticking to your fat loss plan and it’s vital to long-term success!
