Hey ya'll!
I've gotten A LOT of emails lately. If you've sent me an
email recently and I haven't responded I'm very sorry. I do
try to respond to as many as I can and I'll certainly try
to write back if you send me a question.
One thing I've noticed though is that about 75% of the
emails I get basically ask the same question:
"What is a good, affordable way to lose 10/20/30/etc.
pounds?"
Well, if you follow a good program and develop good habits,
you can lose as much weight as you want. And you can do it
relatively quickly too. It's hard to suggest a single
program for everyone since everyone has a different body
type, metabolism, personality, etc., etc...
The important thing is to not be afraid to try something
else if what you're doing now isn't working. This is
especially true if you're following a very-low-carb or
zero-carb diet. These "extreme" diets simply don't work for
a lot of people. What I suggest for most people is to get a
good book or ebook that shows you a simple, step-by-step
plan to follow.
One book I've been getting a lot of good feedback about is
Joy Siegrist's "Physician's Weight Loss Secret" ebook. It's
especially popular among people who hate to diet. It's also

Other than that, I suggest to most people that they take a

Remember, it's all about teaching yourself to live a
healthier lifestyle. Despite what you may think, or what
you may have heard, just about ANYONE can lose weight and
build the body they want. Educate yourself on the basics
and the results will come!

A very effective way to motivate yourself to lose weight
and get in shape quickly is to "train" for an event. When
you have a goal of running a half-marathon or completing a
10K bike race, you'll be more determined to stick to your
healthy diet and exercise plan.
You can find local athletic events in the newspaper or a
local news web site. Another good place to find out what's

Trust me, this works. Even if your goal is to be able to
walk (and complete) a 5K race, you'll feel the rush of
motivation and determination much more often than if you
were just "trying to lose a few pounds". You'll also get
closer to living the "fitness lifestyle" that will change
