7 Secrets to Eating Well for Weight Loss

When it comes to weight loss, "eating well" means eating the
right foods, in the right quantities, at the right times.
And, since proper diet is at least 50% of the fat loss
equation, learning to eat well is extremely important if you
want to get (and keep) a leaner, healthier, sexier body!

The following 7 eating tips can help you lose weight
quickly, safely, and without being hungry all the time:

1. Eat small portions and small meals - your body's
metabolism functions much better when it's not bombarded
with a ton of calories all at once.

2. Eat every 3-4 hours - this keeps you from getting too
hungry and overeating. It also keeps your metabolism in
high gear all day long (burning more calories).

3. Eat BEFORE you get hungry - waiting to eat when you're
starving is one of the biggest mistakes people on diets
make. It's much easier to control what and how much you eat
when you're not too hungry.

4. Eat protein with every meal - this stabilizes your blood
sugar (and insulin levels) so your body won't store too many
calories as fat.

5. Drink lots of water - yes, you've probably heard this a
thousand times, but that's because it REALLY WORKS! Sipping
water all day keeps your metabolism running smoothly and
also helps keep hunger at bay.

6. Stop eating when you feel full - even if there's some
food still on your plate. You don't have to be "stuffed" to
feel satisfied!

7. Eat more fiber - fiber and water are nature's appetite
suppressants. Vegetables, fruits, and whole grains have a
ton of both so incorporate them into as many meals as
possible.
