Just how good is the Mari Winsor Pilates program?
Winsor Pilates is one of the most popular home workout programs out right now. It’s based on Pilates-style movements which stretch, strengthen, and tone the muscles. Professional dancers and athletes have been using Pilates exercise for years to keep themselves in shape. One thing Pilates does well is increase “flexible strength”, which is one reason why Pilates classes have become VERY popular in gyms recently.
Mari Winsor, the creator of Winsor Pilates, has increased the intensity of a typical Pilates workout in order to make it more effective at fat-burning. She’s done a pretty good job too. Most Winsor Pilates customers are very happy with the fat-burning and body-toning results of the workout.
To perform the Winsor Pilates routines you'll need a soft exercise mat or at least a thick rug to cushion your spine. You'll also need some patience because Pilates movements aren't the easiest things to learn. But once you get comfortable with them they are extremely enjoyable.
